Clemenceau Heritage Museum/Verde Historical Society

Housed in the original Clemenceau Public School building located in the original Town of Clemenceau which was named by James S. Douglas, owner of the United Verde Extension copper mine in Jerome, the museum holds artifacts of the Verde Valley's socio-economic heritage in permanent and rotating exhibits including a working model railroad diorama depicting the historic railroads of the Verde Valley, the original Bank of Clemenceau building and the replicated Clemenceau Post Office. The museum is handicap-accessible, restrooms are available, please no food or drink inside the building. A gift shop is available.

Regular hours are:
Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00-12:00, Friday and Saturday 11:00-3:00,
The office is only available on Tuesday mornings.
