"Run for the Roses" Spring Festival  -  Arts, Wines & Antiques

May 2nd is the Bootlegger's Ball, featuring The Sammy Davis Band. The ball will be held at the Civic Center, beginning at 7:00pm. The Bootlegger's Ball will kick off the Run for the Roses Cottonwood Bootleg Derby.

Bootlegger's Ball

Set the mood with the Bootlegger Ball. The Sammy Davis Band will play from 7-11 p.m. Friday at the Cottonwood Civic Center. Buy your $10 ticket now for the gala. They wil available up until 4pm the day of the event. There is a cash bar.

A Silent Auction, including an original sculpture by Ardyanna Ciera, will benefit the Connections Equine Program

Derby Day Saturday

� 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. -- The Art and Vintage Fair will feature guest artists-sculptors John Soderberg and Adryanna Ciera along with 30 artists at the Old Jail

� 10 a.m. -- Horseshoe Tournament hosted by the Cornville Cartel Association. Check in at Burning Tree Cellars Parking Lot at 10 a.m. Contact Dave Lewis, 928 300-2383. Spots still open.

� 2-4 p.m. Sawhorse races down Old Town's Main Street.

Those attending also will be able to view the 1980 Classic CJ5 Jeep, the public version of the famous Willys Jeep from WWII that has been donated by Oxendale Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram. This Jeep will be raffled to benefit the Connections Equine Program. Tickets Available at the Bootlegger's Ball and the Run for the Roses Derby.

More than 40 sawhorses created and decorated by Cottonwood merchants will face off to establish the "reining" winner of the first Bootleg Derby.
